Fall Harvest

Great fall weather has meant an extended season for our garden which I appreciate, especially when I get to taste the kitchen creations that result from such a blessing.

Fresh tomatoes stuffed and baked were the perfect complement to the grilled salmon that Cynthia prepared last evening. The potatoes and zucchini were also from the garden.

Even though it was mid June before I planted our tomatoes the harvest is proving to be abundant.

Cynthia started in on cleaning and cutting while Julia lent a hand in the canning process.

The new gas range was the perfect choice for a gardener’s kitchen!

Diligent work by chefs Julia and Cynthia will insure the summer flavors will be enjoyed in the months to come. Thanks Julia for the extra help and hands in the kitchen!
