Radically International

Standing at the counter in our Swedish IKEA Kitchen it struck me how radically international I have become. Who would have thought? But here I am, an American making Norwegian lefse in a Swedish kitchen. Wow! That is really something to behold here in Montana.

Well my mother was Norwegian and father was Swedish so I guess it isn’t really all that great a leap. But what I was actually wondering is if we would have any problems with Swedish “customs” (as in airport security and Swedish tradition). The plan is to package up this fresh from the grill treat and take it to Sigrid in Stockholm. I can’t remember just now what Olle thinks about this kind of international fare.

Lefse made to perfection will certainly be a hit with Solbritt as well. Is it too early to start Lilian on lefse? Our flight leaves in a couple of hours so I best get this packed up and in the suitcase. Shhh! Don’t tell Sigrid I’m bringing this. It’s a surprise.
