About the author

Loren J. Gustafson spends his days finding new purpose for old building materials. In the process he is also discovering new values and purpose in his own life.

Pastor Loren is an ordained minister of the Montana Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). He has served congregations in Alaska, North Dakota, Michigan, Montana and Copenhagen, Denmark. He currently serves the Lincoln Community United Methodist Church. He resides with his wife Cynthia in Helena, Montana where he continues working on remodeling their 1888 Helena home.

Photography credits are shared with Cynthia as she provides the keen eye for capturing just the right angle or close-up for many of the pictures in this journal of our lives.
